Crock Pot Potato Soup

Another one of my most requested recipes and likely the easiest one yet. Crock Pot Potato Soup.

Also, another one of my husband’s favorite meals.  Both he and our lil’ guy devour this soup and continue to eat the leftovers until they have vanished.  The tot calls this soup “cheese potato soup” and he even asks for it for breakfast in his “green bowl”. 

The picture above is HIS.  My lil’ guy likes cheese as much as he likes potatoes.  I typically opt for less cheese sprinkled on my soup but however it is garnished this comforting soup is sure to please.

Crock Pot Potato Soup

Ingredients:
– 1 bag of Frozen Shredded Hash Browns (30oz)
– 3 cans of Chicken Broth (14oz)
– 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
– 1/2 tsp of Ground Black Pepper
– 1/2 tsp of Salt
– 1/2 tsp of Onion Powder
– 1 cube Cream Cheese (do not use fat free)

Optional Garnishes:
– Shredded Cheese
– Cooked Bacon Bits or Cooked Cubed Ham
– Diced Green Onions

Directions:
Coat crock pot with cooking spray.
Add Frozen Hash Browns, Chicken Broth,
Cream of Chicken Soup and the three seasons.
Cook on low.
After four hours add the Cream Cheese
then continue to cook on low for an additional four hours.
Stir well before serving.
If desired top individual bowls with Shredded Cheese,
Bacon Bits or Ham, and Green Onions.
