Gobble Meal Subscription Box Review

This post is sponsored by Gobble; as always, the opinions expressed here are my own. Gobble Meal Subscription Box Review.

Have you tried one of the trendy new meal subscriptions? I have and I am one for two.

Gobble Meal Subscription Box Review, TrishSutton.com

A few months ago my family purchased a meal subscription box. There was no question at the time that I ordered that having three meals delivered to my door was worth the money. Those three dinners without much preparation effort on my part turned into one dinner and two nights of take-out after an attempt at eating the dinners.

When I was approached about trying Gobble’s gourmet meals I was a little apprehensive even though their offer was to send me a free box for my honest review. What did I have to lose? If the meals were good my readers had a little bit to gain because Gobble offered to give my readers $50 off on their first box. And so I ordered another meal subscription box.

The Gobble meals arrived in a cooler lined shipping box. All of the contents were cold, neatly packed and divided by meal with an instruction card for each dinner. Easy.

Our meals of choice:
Blackened Prime Sirloin Steak with Mashed Potatoes & Baby Carrots
(Your mouth is watering, isn’t it?)
Salsa Verde Spinach Enchiladas with Corn & Black Bean Rice

Gobble publicizes making a gourmet meal with one pan in less than 15 minutes with easy 3-step recipes. Gobble notes that with all ingredients being packed separately for each meal they can offer a few diet specific restrictions: dairy-free, nut-free and/or gluten-free. And Gobble’s individual meals are between 500-700 calories per person.

Let’s try it!

First up, the Blacked Prime Sirloin Steak. Mouthwatering in writing and on the plate! This meal took me longer than fifteen minutes to prepare; however, that was likely because my husband and my son prefer their steaks medium-well. Even with the extra time this meal was worth the wait and received all thumbs up.

Next, Salsa Verde Spinach Enchiladas which were everything Gobble advertises. One pan, less than 15 minutes, 3 steps and gourmet! (I am going to assume that Gobble is correct about the calorie count too.) Outside of my own enchiladas I have never had ones that I enjoyed more. Not to mention the Corn & Black Bean Rice which was delicious. Another all thumbs up meal!

Gobble for the win! And a big thank you to them for sending us a free box AND for improving our subscription meal record to 1/2. I am glad that I decided to give the meal subscription box concept another try and I highly recommend trying both of the Gobble meals my family enjoyed.
