Brownie Batter Muddy Buddies

This big bowl of sweet chocolatey treats comes together in just ten minutes and it only requires five ingredients.

  • 6 cups Chex Corn Cereal
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (or Milk Chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Brownie Mix (any box mix)

Brownie Batter Muddy Buddies Recipe

Make a tasty chocolatey treat in just minutes with this simple no bake recipe for Brownie Batter Muddy Buddies Puppy Chow made with a box of brownie mix, Chex cereal, chocolate chips and Nutella.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Chex Corn Cereal
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Brownie Mix (any dry box mix)

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing a flat surface such as your kitchen countertop or a large baking sheet with a layer of parchment paper. Then pour the Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl and set it aside.

  2. Next, pour the chocolate chips into a medium size microwave safe bowl and melt the chips in the microwave on high for 60 seconds. Stir the melted chocolate until it is smooth then add the Nutella and vanilla to the melted chocolate then stir until it is well combined.

  3. Pour the melted mixture over the bowl of Chex cereal. Use a wooden spoon to and gently fold the two together. When the cereal is well coated in melted chocolate spoon it into a gallon size ziploc bag.

  4. Finally, pour the dry brownie mix into the bag, seal it and shake it until the Brownie Mix Muddy Buddies are covered. Pour the sweet treat onto the prepared parchment paper and allow the sweet treat to rest for a few minutes before storing it a sealed container.
