Not everyone enjoys eating Peeps but just because I don’t eat them doesn’t mean that I don’t like creating with them. This centerpiece that screams spring is another fun way to use Peeps and it is super simple to make.

Directions:

After you have collected all of the necessary supplies including a foam block (or coffee mugs) begin by pouring 1 cup of chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl. Melt the chips in the microwave on high for 60 seconds then stir the chocolate until it is smooth.

Dip the bottom third of a Peep marshmallow candy into the melted chocolate next press a Lollipop stick into the bottom of the Peep then sprinkle green edible grass pieces over the melted chocolate. Stand the Peep pop upright to allow the chocolate to set. I used a foam block from the Dollar Store; however you could also stand them in coffee mugs.

Repeat the steps above until all of the Peeps have been dipped, placed on sticks and sprinkled with edible grass. Next, pour Jelly Beans into the bottom of a vase. I chose a square shaped vase from the Dollar Store but any clear vase would be great. Then place the chocolate dipped Peeps into the jelly beans. If desired, add artificial floral pieces to the vase.

Display your Edible Easter Centerpiece and/or place the individual Peeps pops in a small clear cellophane party bags, wrap a ribbon around the stick and tie a bow then share these sweet marshmallow-y spring treats with friends!

If you end up with left over edible grass like I did grab some Chocolate Rice Krispies and create these Spring Treats!
