Mason Jar Mummy Luminaries | Spooky Halloween Decor

There is spooky and then there is scary. The Halloween decor goal at our house is spooky with a touch of silly and absolutely nothing scary. Mason Jar Mummy Luminaries.

Mason Jar Mummy Luminaries are a simple and silly way to add Halloween cheer both outdoors and indoors. Along with the Mason Jars you will need a roll or two of first aid gauze and tea lights or candles. (Add my favorite battery operated tea lights and you won't even have to remember to light your mummies at night - they have timers!) TrishSutton.com

A couple years ago our little guy insisted that the Halloween decorations in our house should not be scary. For the betterment of our household and sleep schedule we conceded and agreed that scary was out. Spooky and silly were IN.

If you do not already have battery operated tea lights that you love – check THESE out. I love them. They are controlled by a remote and there is also timer option in which the lights will come on at the same time daily and automatically turn off after six hours. Awesome.
