Movie Night Gift Basket; A Gift Fit For Anyone

Movie Night Gift Basket by trishsutton.comA Movie Night Gift Basket is a gift that is fit for just about anyone!

Think end of school year or teacher appreciation week, a friend who just had a baby, a newly engaged couple, a neighbor, or ANYONE with a television.

This simple to create Movie Night Gift Basket is fun to assemble, comes together in just minutes and encourages the recipient to relax for the night.

I have seen several versions of a Movie Night Gift Basket on Pinterest.

The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to the box, basket, or container holding the contents.  And when it comes to the contents, anything related to a movie night goes!  Think boxed candy, drinks, DVDs, Blue Ray movies or a gift card for a movie rental.  And, of course, popcorn!  Bags of microwave popcorn or bags of gourmet popped popcorn, either one works perfectly in this gift basket.

For teacher appreciation week I created Movie Night Gift Baskets for my lil’ guy’s preschool teachers.  I enjoyed putting them together because they are a gift I would love to receive.  And, well, because they involve one of my favorite foods.  POPCORN.

I added tissue paper to plastic popcorn containers, filled the containers with three bags of popped popcorn, and a movie rental gift card.  Then I topped them with a chalkboard “movie” star clip that I wrote each teacher’s name on with a chalk pen.
