DIRECTIONS:

Begin by laying out the foam blocks and cutting them to the size necessary to create an “X”.  I laid mine out on top of the “O” to ensure it was sized appropriately.   Feed the floral wire through the foam blocks to secure the shape of the “X” then paint your floral foam pieces red.  Be sure to paint all sides.

After the paint has dried attach ribbon to the back of the X and the O with glue and to be sure they are secure attach a staple through the ribbon into each letter.  If desired, create a bow at the top of your ribbon.

Push the stem of each flower into the foam.  Continue to insert the flowers until the desired look is achieved.  If you are concerned about the flowers staying in the foam a simple solution would be to add a dab of craft glue to the end of each stem before inserting it into the foam.

Beautiful!

Your Valentine’s Door Wreath is ready to hang and welcome January and February visitors with love.
