Prep Time 20 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Popcorn Kernels
  • 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 3/4 cup Salted Peanuts

Instructions

  1. Pop popcorn then remove any un-popped kernels, pour the popcorn into a large bowl then set it aside.
  2. I use my microwave popcorn popper. Just two batches (1/4 cup each) at two minutes each makes approximately 15-16 cups of popped popcorn.
  3. Add sugar and corn syrup to a medium saucepan then bring to a boil over medium-high heat stirring the mixture frequently. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
  4. Add peanut butter to the sugar mixture then stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the popcorn then gently stir popcorn with a wooden spoon or spatula or large spoon, add peanuts then continue to stir until the Peanut Butter Popcorn is coated.
  6. Place a sheet of wax paper onto the counter then spread the popcorn onto the wax paper to cool.
  7. Enjoy
