Who’s ready for Christmas in July? Amazon Prime Day 2018 is just days away.
So, what is Prime Day?
Prime Day is a day when Amazon.com offers flash deals cutting costs on a wide variety of products.
Amazon Prime Day 2018
This year Amazon Prime Day is more than just A DAY. It is 36 hours of Black Friday worthy deals beginning at 12p (PST) on July 16th. Similar to previous years Amazon will offer deals for a limited time and new deals will pop up every few minutes throughout the scheduled day and a half (July 16-17). Amazon has already begun releasing deals this year! Along with some of their top sellers Amazon is already offering Prime Day deals on tablets, Twitch Prime and Amazon Music.
** You need to be an Amazon Prime Member to purchase Amazon Prime Day deals. Signing up is easy and you can try it out for free! **
Once again this year Amazon is expected to top their previous years’ deals. One addition this year is added discounts at Whole Foods. It has been reported that Prime members will receive 10% off hundreds of items at Whole Foods and Prime Rewards Visa card holders will receive double the points on purchases.
My 2017 tips included downloading the Amazon App, creating a wish list, checking the Lightning Deals often & adding alerts, shopping competitor websites for additional deals and following Amazon on Facebook. I still recommend those tips!! I also recommend you check out Amazon’s “How to Shop” Prime Day.
Last year my family scored much needed camping gear along with electronics and (of course) there were a couple items that we didn’t even know we needed.
This year I am hoping to grab a couple of the Ring Floodlight Cameras on a flash deal. Our family LOVES our Ring Doorbell and since Amazon acquired Ring a few months ago I suspect they might just offer up one of their own products at a price we will not be able to pass up.
