This week has been a big week at our house! It was back-to-school week for both our preschooler and our college kid. Our little guy is a year away from Kindergarten and since I know all too well that blinking a few times will turn him in to a college student I am savoring every moment.
Even the moments that I do not typically enjoy. More specifically, the back-to-school shopping moments. As I have mentioned in the past, I do not care too much for shopping. That said, our recent shopping experience at the Carter’s store was different.
This time I let my little guy take the lead as he explored the cute and colorful displays at Carter’s. In fact, he explored his way right over to animal slippers that had nothing to do with ‘back-to-school’ yet everything to do with his personality. He is now the proud owner of a pair of soft and cozy tiger slippers. Seriously, how cute are they?
As my little guy continued on his journey through Carter’s he found a must have camouflage shirt. According to him, it’s “Bubby’s favorite color” which always multiplies the ‘cool factor’. Both our boys believe that all things camo must come home with them and so the little one now has a fresh start on fall with an essential long sleeve camouflage Henley shirt.
Even though both my boys believe camo matches ANYTHING & EVERYTHING, Carter’s made it easy to find coordinating bottoms that others would agree are a matching set. The ‘looks to love’ throughout the store with coordinating collections and easy to mix and match sets made it super simple to find bottoms to match his prize camo shirt.
While shopping for my sweet boy I wandered over to the little girl’s side of the store. Oh my goodness! The modern coordinates for girls are just as cute and stylish as the boy’s clothing. There are brights and pastels, denim and cords, chambray, animal prints and EVEN CAMO FOR GIRLS. Adorable! Carter’s fun and colorful styles are now available from newborn all the way to SIZE 8 in both boys and girls apparel.
We had so much fun during our shopping outing! The little guy left the store happy with his new digs and I left the store happy with the quality of clothing that we were taking home with us. His first day of school outfit included a Carter’s t-shirt with the words “Be Brave. Adventure Awaits.” and pair of grey cargo shorts, also from Carter’s.
