Christmas Countdown Printable by TrishSutton.com

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The tree is up, the lights have been hung and the countdown is on. Christmas is just a few weeks away.

My Grandma shared her ‘love of anticipation’ gene with me. She used to tell me that “the anticipation of looking forward to something is half the joy of the event” and I couldn’t agree more! Whether it be turning the page of the calendar and seeing that my sister’s visit is just days away or thinking about a vacation months from now, I love “this” part of the excitement. I love the anticipation. I love the countdown.

The turning of the page this month brings double the anticipation at our house because there is a certain four year old who is like every other child during the Christmas season. Our little guy’s eyes light up with every preparation, every thought, every Christmas story and every day that takes away a number on our Christmas countdown.

I created a Christmas Countdown Free Printable; you just need a frame (5×7 or a larger frame with a photo mat) and a dry erase marker.  Print, frame, write number on the glass with a dry erase marker and enjoy the anticipation!
