Once again a new school year is upon us and just like the beginning of every other school year it seems a bit unbelievable that our little guy’s summer coming to a close. Recently, our oldest commented about how I will soon repeatedly comment on how much I miss my little nugget being home with me all day. He’s right. It’s inevitable. I will say it over and over again. The challenges of working from home are far outweighed by the benefits; one of the greatest is that I get to spend summer days with our youngest. I will absolutely miss our silly chatter, lunches together, playdates with friends and afternoons spent in the pool. And I know he will too.

However, just because my summer shadow is going back to school that does not mean that we will no longer share a moment at lunchtime. It just won’t be in person. Along with purchasing school supplies, a new backpack and lunchbox part of my back to school routine includes creating printable lunchbox jokes and notes. It is our cafeteria lunchtime tradition that I add a lunchbox joke or note to his lunchbox everyday. While I know my little guy likes reading a note signed with love from momma I am quite certain that the jokes are favored. He loves reading the jokes to the classmates sitting at his lunch table.

This year I am printing my colorful jokes on my NEW Limited Edition Walmart Exclusive printer.  I am in awe of print quality. The vibrant colors of each animal on my latest set of jokes were not lost in print. They look amazing and HP has made it amazingly easy to set up this new limited edition printer wirelessly with a smartphone (or tablet).

All in all this all-in-one printer that copies, prints and scans is a great value! It is compact, convenient and prints double the pages with original HP high-yield ink cartridges. My local store had all three of the fun new printer colors in stock. It was just as easy to find the new colorful HP DeskJet 2636 All-In-One Printer in the store as it was to find the HP Original Ink Combo Pack and all of our other necessary back to school supplies.

Personally, my favorite color is the Gelato color printer (bottom row of the Walmart endcap pictured above) because it matches most of my office accessories. Alas, my eight year old was on hand when I was at Walmart and he made a convincing argument for printing his homework, coloring pages and lunchbox notes on the Atlantic Blue printer this school year. In addition to Gelato and Atlantic Blue the HP DeskJet 2636 comes in Dark Sienna.
