This simple recipe for Patriotic Red Velvet Brownies takes little time to make and tastes absolutely amazing with a side of DREYER’S SLOW CHURNED® Caramel Delight Light Ice Cream.
Patriotic Red Velvet Brownies
with DREYER’S Slow Churned Ice Cream
1 Box Brownie Mix
(+ ingredients noted on Brownie box)
1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix
1/3 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Canola Oil
1 Can Cream Cheese Frosting
Red White & Blue Patriotic Red Velvet Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×13 baking pan by adding a sheet of Parchment Paper to the bottom of the pan.
In a medium mixing bowl prepare Brownies as directed on the box. Spread Brownie batter in the bottom of the prepared pan.
Add Red Velvet Cake Mix, 1/4 Cup Canola Oil, 1 Egg and 1/4 Cup of Milk in another medium mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is well combine. Drop spoonfuls of Red Velvet batter over the Brownie layer then gently spread it across the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 – 34 minutes (or until the Red Velvet Brownies pass the toothpick test). Remove the pan from the oven and place it on a cooling rack. Allow Brownies to cool completely before topping them with a can of Cream Cheese Frosting and Blue Sprinkles.
Serve Red Velvet Brownies with a side of DREYER’S SLOW CHURNED® Caramel Delight Light Ice Cream.
