Once again September arrived along with the ninth month of the year came all things Pumpkin Spice. When the craving for pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread hits this simple two minute recipe is just what you need.
Pumpkin Mug Cake Simple Two Minute Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice (+ a dash)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- Whipped Cream
You will also need:
- Microwave Safe Mug or Ramekin
- Fork or Small Whisk
Directions:
First crack an egg and add it to a microwave safe mug (or ramekin) then use a fork or small whisk to beat the egg until it is smooth.
Next, add the flour and sugar to the mug and mix it with the egg until well combine. Finally, stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice and cinnamon.
Microwave the Pumpkin Mug Cake on high for 1 minute & 30 seconds.
Allow the mug to rest for just a minute then top the single serving cake with whipped cream and a dash of pumpkin spice. Enjoy!
