Simple Oatmeal Breakfast Cups Filled with Yogurt and Fruit

This simple recipe is for a healthy edible breakfast bowl made with oats, applesauce and honey then filled with yogurt and fruit.

  • 1 1/2 cup Quick Oats
  • 1/4 cup Applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously spray 6 muffin tins of a muffin pan with cooking spray.

  2. Add oats, applesauce, honey, cinnamon and salt to a medium size mixing bowl and mix until well combined.

  3. Divide oatmeal mixture into 6 muffin tins. Use your fingers to press the mixture onto the sides and bottom of each muffin tin. Bake for 15 minutes.

  4. Remove muffin pan from the oven and allow these Simple Oatmeal Breakfast Cups to rest for several minutes before using a spoon or butter knife to loosen the edges and scoop out each oatmeal cup.

  5. After they are completely cool these cups of goodness are ready to be filled with yogurt and fruit.
