Ice Cream Pie

There are just three ingredients in this simple frozen treat!

Ingredients

  • Half Gallon Ice Cream
  • Tub Cool Whip Whipped Cream
  • Pre-made Chocolate Pie Crust

OPTIONAL: Chocolate Syrup, Whip Cream, Cherries and whatever other toppings your sweet tooth desires.

Instructions

  1. Before you begin, take the Ice Cream and Cool Whip out of the freezer and allow it to sit on the counter for about 15-20 minutes to soften.  

  2. Begin by adding the entire containers of both the Ice Cream and Cool Whip to a large mixing bowl. Then mix those ingredients with a wooden spoon or heavy spoon until the creamy mixture is well combined.

  3. Next, pour the soft and creamy mixture into the pre-made Pie Crust then use a spatula to smooth the top of the pie. Place the it in the freezer and let it sit for at least 3 hours.

  4. When the ice cream pie is set and frozen solid remove it from the freezer, cut it just like a pie, add your favorite toppings and ENJOY.
