This. This right here. This really IS ‘thick’ pasta sauce!! REALLY.
I know we have all heard that before but believe it or not, RAGÚ Homestyle Thick & Hearty Pasta Sauce really is thick. It is so thick that when I used it to make a Pizza last week my family had no idea that it wasn’t Pizza Sauce.
Bravo RAGÚ! And an added thumb’s up for the five flavor options. I have tried three RAGÚ Homestyle Pasta Sauces and so far so good. But, don’t just take my word for it. Try it for yourself.
1 Jar of RAGÚ Homestyle Thick & Hearty Pasta Sauce
1 Package Frozen Cheese Ravioli (marked 4 servings or more)
8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour Frozen Cheese Ravioli into a medium size bowl and rinse pasta with warm water by filling the bowl with water. Allow pasta to sit for one minute before draining the water.
Prepare single serve stoneware or glassware by spraying each one with Cooking Spray.
Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of Homestyle Ragu Thick & Hearty Pasta Sauce to the bottom of each dish. Add a layer of Cheese Ravioli then add an additional 1 1/2 tablespoons of Pasta Sauce.
Add a second layer of Ravioli, an additional 1 1/2 – 2 tablespoons of Pasta Sauce and top with sliced Mozzarella Cheese.
Cover each dish with aluminum foil, place each one in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove the Baked Cheesy Ravioli from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving. Top Ravioli with fresh Basil or dried Basil. And enjoy!!
