During the current pandemic we have cancelled TWO of our scheduled beach vacations. Sadly, we had to skip out on both spring break week and Father’s Day week at the beach this year.
As much as we long for sand between our toes we can not complain because isolation has kept us healthy and we are incredibly grateful for that. Both my cousin and my aunt have not been so lucky and just hearing about their Covid misery is enough to keep us in isolation for another 116 days (or longer). Thankfully we have a backyard pool to escape to after the long hours inside our house.
