Around this time last year, along with simple football food and party appetizer recipes, I shared my belief that NFL Kick-off Sunday should be a National Holiday. I LOVE FOOTBALL. I love it so much that eight years ago when my soon-to-be husband and I were discussing possible wedding dates I vetoed football season as possible dates.
Yes, the WHOLE season. Hear me out.
There is Thursday night football, Friday Night Lights, College Game Day, all day Sunday then Monday Night Football. The only days that might have been a possibility were Tuesdays & Wednesdays but I needed those days open to make trades and adjust my Fantasy Football Team line-up. There was just no way that I could (or would) get married during football season.
Good news! It all worked out. We got married the weekend before the NFL season started and now my favorite day of the year, our anniversary, is the kick-off for my favorite season.
After a long off season the 2015 NFL Season Kick-Off game is TONIGHT and I AM READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL. In preparing for the upcoming season I turned to a group of the best recipe creators on the web and asked them to share their top tailgate recipes. They did not disappoint.
Below are 40 Football Season Recipes. From meatless appetizers to sweet treats. Buffalo, baked, dipped and wrapped recipes that all sound mouthwatering! This is the ultimate Round-Up For Tailgate Parties.
