Pretzels with Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Football Dip is just the ticket to share with your friends and family.
I should add SIMPLE to the Salty & Sweet tagline.
This recipe is not only a great accompaniment to any party spread it is quickly created and only needs an hour to set before it’s ready to eat.
Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Football Dip
– 1 Package of Cream Cheese, Softened
– 1 1/2 Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
– 1 Stick of Butter, Softened
– 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
– 2 Cups of Powdered Sugar
– 1 Cup of Mini Chocolate Chips
– 1 Jar of Chocolate Sprinkles
(I use the entirety of a Betty Crocker 9.3 ounce jar.)
– 1 Tube of White Decorator Frosting for the Football Laces
– 1-2 Large Bags of Pretzels
Using an electric mixer; mix softened Cream Cheese, Peanut Butter, softened Butter and Vanilla in a medium size mixing bowl. Once the mixture is well combined slowly add the Powdered Sugar. Continue to mix until the white powder has become part of the creamy mixture.
Using a spatula or spoon mix in the Mini Chocolate Chips. Form one big dough ball in your mixing bowl then put the bowl of dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
After the mixture has chilled, place the dough ball on a sheet of waxed paper and form the dough into the shape of a Football.
Cover the Football with Chocolate Sprinkles and lightly press them into the surface of your Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Football. Once your dough is covered, use the White Frosting to draw Football Laces onto the Football.
Chill for one hour before serving with Pretzels.
If “salty” isn’t quite what you want to go with your “sweet” – exchange the Pretzels for Animal Crackers, Graham Crackers or another dipper of your choice!
