Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt

Spending time together on evening drives to view Christmas lights is one of our family’s favorite traditions. Armed with hot cocoa and blaring Christmas music our drives often turn into a game similar to “I spy”. We absolutely love pointing out some of the holiday objects that may otherwise go unnoticed. Of course, as the evening goes on we each become more and more competitive in drawing attention to background decorations and trying to beat the others to seeing hidden objects. Oh, what fun!
In preparation of this year’s evening drives I created a free printable Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt. There are 31 items included on my list of lights; some that are more common than others but all of which can most likely found if the seeking lasts long enough.
Supplies Needed:
- Printer
- Printer Paper or Card Stock
- Pen, Pencil, Crayon or Marker
- Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt
Optional Supplies:
- Laminate Sheets (Self Sealing / No heat required)
- Dry Erase Markers

Instructions:
- Print the desired number of copies of the Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt.
- If desired, laminate the game cards so that you can reuse them.
- Grab a pen, pencil, marker or crayon and get ready to play. (Use a dry erase marker for laminated game cards.)
- The rules are simple! Be on the lookout for all of the objects listed on the scavenger hunt list and mark off as many as you can find during your holiday journey.
