DIY Baseball Curtain Rod Ends

DIY Baseball Curtain Rod Ends are the perfect touch for sports theme bedrooms, playrooms, game rooms and sports rooms! A simple project by TrishSutton.com.

Since birth our little guy has always had a sports themed bedroom.  Over the past four years we have changed his bedding, décor & furniture yet the theme has remained the same.  Sports.

When asked, our little guy will say that he wants “football, soccer and baseball” in his room.  To coordinate the curtain rod hardware with the sports theme in his bedroom I asked my husband for a little help…

I asked my husband to drill holes in two baseballs.   He, of course, gave me an odd look before asking a few questions.

After I answered my husband’s questions he agreed that my idea for DIY Baseball Curtain Rod Ends would be a simple project to complete.  He was game!

We purchased a curtain rod with pretty plain rod ends and two new baseballs.  My hubs drilled holes into each baseball which took a little time as he started out small and progressively made the holes bigger to match the size of the curtain rod.

We threw out the ugly curtain rod ends and attached our new “hardware”.  Baseball curtain rod ends.  Our little guy was quick to approve the added touch to his sports theme bedroom.

These Baseball Curtain Rod Ends are perfect for playrooms, game rooms and sports rooms!
