Peanut Butter Power Squares

Peanut Butter Power Squares. Made with Oats & Bananas; they make a simple breakfast on the go and serve as a perfect after school or pre workout snack. TrishSutton.comWhen my oldest was playing high school football I would make these Peanut Butter Power Squares weekly.  They are packed with protein and taste much better than most protein bars.

Save a couple ripe bananas add Oats, Peanut Butter and a few other ingredients and you have Peanut Butter Power Squares.  They make a simple breakfast on the go and serve as a perfect after school or pre workout snack.

Ingredients:
– 1.5 cups Quick Cooking Oats
– 1/4 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
– 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
– 1/2 teaspoon Salt
– 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon Vanilla
– 1/2 cup Almond Milk
– 1 Egg, beaten
– 2 medium sized Bananas, mashed
– 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray 8×8 pan with Cooking Spray.  Mix Oats and dry ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl then set aside.  In a small mixing bowl stir Vanilla, Milk, Egg, and Mashed Banana together until well blended.  Add the wet ingredients into the Oat mixture and stir, then add peanut butter and mix well.  Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350*.  Allow cooling time before cutting into squares.
