Sponge Splash Balls DIY Summertime Fun

The time has come and there are three options. The age old messy one, the short lived one and the reusable option, no cleanup required. It is time for water fights, afternoons in the pool, running through the sprinklers and all of the other creative ideas you can come up with to cool off!

Water fights are always a favorite. And for those there are three options…

Option One: Water Balloons
Wrap each balloon around the end of a faucet, fill the tiny balloon without filling it to the breaking point then tie each one with numbing fingers. Twelve minutes later, pick up every little piece of torn latex strung across the yard.

Option Two: Water Guns
Fill each Water Gun with water out of the faucet, wait one minute and 45 seconds then refill every Water Gun. Play, refill, repeat.

Option Three: Sponge Splash Balls
Make Splash Balls out of Sponges, hand them over to the kids along with a bucket of water or a pool of water. Pour a glass of Sweet Iced Tea and listen to the giggles of Summertime Fun. Oh! And when the Water fight is over save the DIY water bombs for another day.
