Banana Muffins make for such an easy breakfast.
To improve the content of what some consider a naked cupcake, I have a Whole Wheat Banana Muffin Recipe to share with you that includes Whole Wheat Flour, Pure Maple Syrup, Ripe Bananas and REAL Butter.
“Real” as in made with pure milk, nothing artificial & hormone free.
My baby sister is smirking as she reads this. I happen to be known for cooking with ‘real butter’ and it could be said that I use it in everything. Well, bring on everything.
My new found butter love is Finlandia Imported Butter. This premium butter is churned to the perfect creamy consistency. It is created from pure fresh milk and comes from Finnish family-owned farms where artificial growth hormones are not used. It is exactly what butter should taste like.
To put this pure and creamy butter to the test I made Banana Muffins.
1 1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Finlandia Butter (salted), Melted
1/3 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
3 Ripe Bananas
Preheat oven to 350*. Prepare muffin tin with 12 paper liners. Mix dry ingredients (Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder) in a medium size bowl, set aside. Melt Butter in a microwave safe bowl. In a small bowl beat Eggs, then stir in Syrup. Mash Bananas in a separate bowl. Add Butter, Egg & Syrup mixture, and mashed Bananas to the bowl with the dry mixture. Combine well. Pour into muffin tin, filling each one approximately 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes (until the tops of muffins start to brown). Serve with Finlandia Imported Butter.
