Warm summer days call for sweet frozen concoctions. This Frozen Orange Pineapple Margarita is the perfect recipe for those days, nights and weekends.
Think refreshing cocktail made with orange, pineapple and lime. Doesn’t that just sound like summer? It not only sounds like summer to me it sounds amazing. And, in my opinion, it is amazing.
Frozen Orange Pineapple Margarita
Ingredients:
– 1 cup Orange Juice
– 2 cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
– 4 ounces Tequila (silver)
– 2 ounces Triple Sec
– 1 Orange
– 2 Limes
Optional: Sugar (or Salt) for rim of glass
Directions:
Add pineapple, orange juice, tequila and triple sec to blender then squeeze the juice of one lime into blender.
Blend Frozen Pineapple Margaritas until the pineapple pieces have pureed. Cut lime and orange into wedges.
If desired, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass then dip the glass into salt or sugar. Garnish glass with one lime wedge and one orange wedge.
Serve immediately.
