Earlier this year I tried a UV Free “at home” Gel Nail Polish that my Aunt suggested. At that time I was impressed with the smooth surface of my often ridge filled nails. It was pretty great! The three step gel polish process went on smooth, dried quick and I was able to wear it for a full week before the polish began chipping.
Fast forward a few months. I go to my favorite big box store to purchase another shade of the three step gel polish and that particular store no longer carried it. No problem. I would get it somewhere else. On my way home I stopped at a different retailer only to find they no longer carried it. Third times a charm, right? WRONG. Three places and no polish.
Enter Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish.
This gel polish is near perfect. There are only two steps and both dry extremely fast. This gel polish does not require a UV lamp. That’s right, this amazing polish is UV Free.
I will be the first to admit that I am hard on my hands and nails. Not only are my hands in and out of dishwater daily, I have a four year old BOY who keeps me busy playing in the sandbox, painting, wrestling, swimming, pulling apart legos and playing cars. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish consistently lasts ten days without my nails needing a new polish job and I can often times go a full two weeks. My toenails long outlive my fingernails. My pedicures have lasted up to four weeks with no chipping.
Just like the first gel nail polish I tried, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish goes on smooth and fills my ridges. This fabulous two step process is as close as you get to feel and look of a salon gel manicure at home! In fact, if my hands were a little steadier with the brush it would be hard to see the difference between my at home polish and that of a gel manicure at the salon.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish comes in a wide array of shades. From muted pastels to bright primary colors there is most certainly a shade for every person.
By no means am I suggesting anyone give up their occasional “me-time” salon manicures. However, when you are too busy to book an appointment there is UV Free (at home) Miracle Gel Nail Polish that only requires a few minutes to apply.
