You guys.  I can’t help it.  I am really loving those little yellow creatures with the big eyes that are EVERYWHERE.  Those adorable cylindrical creatures are even in the books at our house; googly eyes, blue overalls, spiky hair and all!

Just in time for back-to-school

Cut the yellow foam sheet 1 1/2 inch across the width of the sheet, leaving the bookmark the length of the foam sheet.

Cut the blue foam sheet 1 1/2 inch across the length of the sheet.

Cut the Minion’s hair; I made slices through my ribbon however little pieces of yard would work great too.

Cut rectangles out of the blue piece of foam to create overalls.  Trim the top of the yellow piece of foam to create round edges.  Glue on the googly eye(s).

Draw on the face, the detail of the overalls and the band around the googly eye(s).

Ta-da! Just as adorable as my little guy’s DIY ‘Googly Eye’ Minion T-shirt.
BEE-DO! BEE-DO!!

Quick Tip:  Anytime I am making bookmarks out of foam paper I use foam paper from the dollar store.  It is a much thinner grade than the foam paper from craft stores.  The thinner foam paper works best between book pages.
